What information do we collect?

Your name, email address and any additional contact information that you supply to us is recorded when you attend one of our public events or apply to attend one of our retreats or seminars.

We also collect information regarding your health that is relevant in taking care of you during retreats and seminars. Additionally we collect information about your relevant spiritual history.

Your name, email address and email communication is recorded when you contact us.

Anonymous analytics information is also collected via cookies on our website. This includes a user's date and time of visit, the IP address, the referrer, the browser version and operating system being used.

Why do we collect this information?

Your contact details are recorded when you opt-in to our database, for example, when you attend one of our public events.

We will only send you information relating to the activities of His Eminence the 7th Dzogchen Rinpoche, Dzogchen Monastery and Shenpen. This includes events, fundraising initiatives, study and meditation groups, and other general information about supporting the activities of Dzogchen Rinpoche and Dzogchen Monastery.

Your name, email address and email communication (if you submit an enquiry to Shenpen) is collected purely in order to respond to your enquiry. We do not categorise this information, your information is not passed on to any other organisations and only Shenpen views this information. We keep this information on secure email for varying time periods depending on the nature of your enquiry. We will update or archive the personal information in case of legal matters.

Analytics

Analytics information is used to assess how successful and user-friendly the site is. An individual cannot be identified from this information alone and we do not use this information in conjunction with any other information to identify an individual.

We do not directly pass any information on to third parties. This website however does use third party services which are subject to their own privacy and cookies policies. Right to amend or delete information

If you wish to unsubscribe from our database you can find a link at the bottom of any newsletter from us. Should you have any problems doing that please contact us so we can manually amend or delete your information within 90 days from your initial request.

Should you, having contacted us via email or telephone, wish for us to amend or delete your information please contact us and we will deal with your request within 90 days.
